Worse recovery speed than the Minelab Sovereign? Whites may be slow machines in general, but they aren’t THAT slow. The Sovereign has a ton of redeeming features to make up for its lack of speed… the Whites does not. Oh, unless you want to scroll through a million menu items and make 1000 adjustments per site.

Put the machine into relic put the recovery speed on 23 and try your recovery speed test again, you seem to get each object about a foot apart on your test in the coins program but this does do this legendry machine justice one bit, the coin program is designed for the US not the UK…and misses small silver, recovery speed test used in a custom relic program will pick three objects up three inches apart beep beep beep one after the other,….

I’m not being picky, but if you used a custom Relic program for Uk soils, the recovery speed will pick up three signals one after the other within a space of about 8 inches…rather than in your test of two feet……need to set the machine to relic and then try it, it doesn’t give a true picture of how good this machine is…….
